Zovo IP Lookup
Look up who owns an IP address: network, organisation, country and abuse contact.
Zovo IP Lookup queries the five regional internet registries through RDAP for a single IP address or a batch of up to 20, and adds the reverse DNS name from DNS-over-HTTPS. Each address gets the network handle and name, the organisation that holds it, the country, the allocation range and dates, and the published abuse contact email. Private, loopback, link-local, shared, multicast, documentation and reserved ranges are identified locally and not sent to a registry. The batch comes with a CSV download.
What it does
- Registry lookup for IPv4 and IPv6 through RDAP, following the redirect to the authoritative RIR
- Network handle, network name, holding organisation, country, allocation range and registration / last-changed dates
- Published abuse contact email from the registry's abuse entity, when one exists
- Reverse DNS (PTR) name from DNS-over-HTTPS
- Local RFC classification of private, loopback, link-local, shared, multicast, documentation and reserved ranges
- A batch of up to 20 addresses with a CSV download
Try asking
“Who owns 8.8.8.8?”
“Look up the abuse contact for 1.1.1.1”
“Reverse DNS for 2606:4700:4700::1111”
Limitations
- Registry data shows the network holder and its country, not the location or identity of a person
- Some registries publish no abuse contact email
- Reverse DNS exists only when the network operator sets it
- Up to 20 addresses per call; private, loopback, link-local, shared, multicast, documentation and reserved addresses are not sent to a registry
